Your information
When you register with Old Bull, we ask for your name, email address, WhatsApp number, date of birth and password. These details are currently required to create an account.
We use your information to manage your account, contact you about your listings and keep sale and payment records. Your birthday is used for birthday greetings only if you agree to receive them.
What other people can see
Visitors can see your active cattle listings and photographs. Buyers who sign in can see your name and contact number after you agree to display them on your listing.
Your date of birth is not displayed on cattle listings. Old Bull administrators can access member information to manage the service.
Birthday greetings
You can choose whether to receive birthday greetings when you register. You can decline and still join Old Bull. Birthday permission does not give permission for unrelated advertising messages.
To stop birthday greetings, contact us on WhatsApp at 079 296 9654 or email info@youngbull.co.za.
We may still contact you about your account, listings or payments.
Protecting your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Our hosting provider, Xneelo, and other service providers may handle information needed to operate the website, deliver messages and process payments when connected.
The website uses login cookies and may keep technical records to help it operate securely.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where appropriate.
Your choices
You may ask to see or correct your information, object to its use, or request deletion or account closure. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on your request.
Some payment or dispute records may need to be kept. We will explain why if this applies.
You may also raise a privacy complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator at https://inforegulator.org.za.
